These are some pictures of the people and slums around the Mohammadpur HUP Clinic in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The pictures, taken by HUP volunteers, show the living conditions of the slum residents. The entire slum is built on top of a sewage dump and has over a hundred 10 ft x 10 ft room that is being occupied by four-five people.

Urban Health Care Center is where HUP started its journey. This was the first clinic established under HUP for people in urban slums who do not have access to basic healthcare. In 2009 alone, this clinic served over three thousand patients. The clinic was established by the HUP founder with help from Microsoft Give Matching Program.
